Disney just announced that the classic movie Star Wars: Episode VI – Return Of The Jedi is coming back to theaters around the world on April 28th! This special theatrical rerun gives Star Wars fans a chance to celebrate the movie’s 40th anniversary which happens on May 25th. So mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy this classic again in cinemas!
Disney has been showing old Star Wars movies back in theaters. Last year, they showed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story before Andor¹s Disney+ release. They also managed to show The Empire Strikes Back in between Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020². Looking ahead, there are going to be three new Star Wars films, including one which will have Daisy Ridley as Rey returning to it!
Disney has announced that they are in the process of making a new season of the show called Tales of the Jedi. The creator, Dave Filoni, said this during a big Star Wars event and was excited to begin working on it again. He didn’t tell us when this season will be released, but there’s going to be lots of Star Wars content coming to Disney+ very soon!
