Get Ready for ‘The Acolyte’ Star Wars Series Coming to Disney+ in 2024

At the Star Wars Celebration in London, Lucasfilm showed something called “The Acolyte”. It won’t be available to watch online until 2024!

Disney recently revealed The Acolyte, a new Star Wars series set in the High Republic period. This time is 100 years before the prequel trilogy and known as the Golden Age of Jedi. Famous actors such as Jodie Turner-Smith, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Rebecca Henderson and Carrie-Anne Moss will join the cast.

The trailer of a new show featured a Jedi temple, along with images of a fight between two people wielding gold lightsabers. The tagline said that this show is all about power and who is given permission to use it. It has been reported that it will be a thrilling mystery told from the perspective of Siths – which are soldiers serving powerful leaders called Sith Lords.

Lucasfilm announced that their upcoming show ‘Ahsoka’ will be released in August of 2023. Rosario Dawson and Mary Elizabeth Winstead presented a teaser trailer to the crowd (shown above). Dawson said “Something is coming, something dark”.

In other news, the creator of a show called “Andor” announced that its second and final season will come out in August 2024. Furthermore, people saw the first trailer for another show called “Skeleton Crew”. It features Jude Law as a Jedi and some rebellious kids aboard speeders and spaceships facing off against an enemy from The Mandalorian.
