Razer has entered the realm of in-ear monitors (IEMs) with a focus on gamers and streamers. Unlike traditional IEMs designed for musicians and audio engineers, Razer’s Moray is tailored for this specific audience. The wired Moray features THX-certified dual-driver earpieces, offering clear treble and deep bass, while providing up to -36dB of passive noise reduction.

In addition to exceptional sound quality, comfort is a key consideration for Razer. The Moray boasts an ergonomic design and braided cables to ensure a secure fit even during long gaming or streaming sessions. With the aim of minimizing distractions, Razer provides three different ear tip varieties, each available in three sizes, to optimize the fit for individual users.

Priced at $130, the Moray is not positioned to compete with higher-end IEMs from renowned brands such as Audio Technica, Sennheiser, or Shure. Those premium offerings often feature three or more drivers per ear and include additional features like wireless kits, detachable cables, and other luxurious elements. The Moray lacks a built-in microphone, so streamers will need to use their own dedicated microphone for broadcasting.

However, the Moray’s strength lies in its lightweight design and reliable fit. Unlike conventional headphones, the Moray won’t weigh down on your head or cover your ears, making it suitable for minimizing interruptions during extended gameplay or streaming sessions.

Interested customers can purchase the Razer Moray for $130 directly from Razer’s website or through authorized resellers.

razer moray seems gr8! it’s light and won’t mess with ur head like normal headphones. good for long streams with no breakz. just wish it had a mic built-in. gotta get my own mic for streaming. but comfort and fit are important, and it has options for that.
