Ubisoft is set to launch its guitar-teaching app, Rocksmith+, on iOS and Android platforms on June 9th. This move comes nine months after the app was made available on PC, despite earlier projections that it would reach mobile platforms last autumn. The release dates for the Xbox and PlayStation versions remain undisclosed.
Rocksmith+ serves as a comprehensive guide for people eager to master the art of playing electric, acoustic, or bass guitars. The app’s features encompass note detection, real-time feedback, and various practice tools. It also boasts a vast library of over 6,000 songs, with new ones being added every month.
A subscription is required to access Rocksmith+. The subscription packages are as follows: $15 for one month, $40 for three months, and $100 for a year. A seven-day free trial is available, but to activate it, users must subscribe to the annual plan and cancel within a week if they decide not to continue with the service.
In addition to Rocksmith+, Ubisoft provides a complimentary guitar tuning app on iOS and Android. This app enables users to tune their guitars either directly or by using the microphone on their mobile devices. It also offers more than 30 presets for experimenting with non-standard tunings.
